The United States is divided, perhaps more than at any point in its history. The problem lies far deeper than being split over owning slaves, or the color of a persons skin. Our current divide stems from the foundation of our government, with the people rallying behind either the far left or far right, and ignoring any middle ground. This is splitting our great nation and will destroy us if our mindset is not changed.
